Our BJJ basics class is designed to provide adults with a solid foundation of Jiu-Jitsu technique that works equally well for both self-defense and sport, while at the same time serving as a great way to get in shape while having fun. This class offers content suitable for all skill levels.
Our all levels program builds on the fundamental techniques and positions taught in our core concepts class. This class focuses on intermediate level drills and techniques and is designed to provide students the tools they need to progress towards our advanced program. This class is suitable for all skill levels.
Our advanced program is designed to build upon the base established through our Core Concepts program. In this class students will be exposed to advanced technique, drills and setups. This class is designed for students who have established a good understanding of the basics.
Live training is where we put our techniques into practice through situational sparring and free sparring. Live training is widely considered the “meat and potatoes” of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu; it is through sparring that the student will begin to understand the pressures and leverages that make BJJ so effective. Our live training class provides a safe and friendly atmosphere to take your training and fitness goals to the next level.
Our competition class is designed provide a high intensity and vigorous work out for our competitors. This class focuses on situational sparring, drills and free sparring with and an emphasis on competition rules and strategy.
Kids BJJ and Self-Defense:
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is an excellent martial art for children because it emphasizes technique and leverage to achieve success rather than being dependent on the physical characteristics of size and speed. As a result, children build valuable motor skills that can help them succeed in any physical endeavor. In addition to the physical aspect of training we strive to instill in our students the traditional values of honesty, fair play, and compassion that are associated with the practice of martial art.
